The Passage Theatre is seeking a part-time Marketing Director to manage social media, website,  marketing campaigns, and branding. A small, yearly stipend is available. We are looking for an excellent communicator and collaborator who is excited to develop the brand of an up-and-coming Chicago theater.


Duties Include:

  • Attend staff meetings (1-2 monthly)

  • Website maintenance and design

  • Manage all print and online advertising

  • Raise awareness of the company among potential patrons

  • Create all images for social media

  • Collaborate with artists to create poster designs

  • Develop strategic plans to reach revenue goals for all projects


No prior experience necessary. Must be familiar with design software (such as Photoshop), Gmail, and social media. Graphic design experience is not necessary, but very useful for this position. We are looking for candidates motivated by a passion for growing an emerging theatre company and joining an artistic family.
